Jacqueline Ditt & Mario Strack - Spring 10 The artist couple presents:
"Stills alive" computergraphics (ltd. fine art prints) by Jacqueline Ditt "Lifeline" illustrated music / videoclip & photography (ltd. fine art prints) by Mario Strack The graphic exhibition "Stills alive" by Jacqueline Ditt pays homage to the vintage still life subject in a recent way. Recent not just because she uses a computer and digital pen but she also shows items of todays world. The artist accepts a toy?robot as well as a classic fruit still on her graphics. The topic "Stills alive" refers to the expressiv and "active" sceneries, so you can see Barbie and her dog leaving their boxing or a strawberry ice cream makes your mouth water. The subjects are also symbolic for the present "unworrried" spirit of the age that shows a nearly uncritical society, which prefers almost only the pleasant things of life. Were traffic is supposed to run quick and flawless, wild nature has to be removed. Ways being levelled and paved. But shortly after completion soil is accumulating in the fugues and with the change of seasons life resettles. An extraordinary example of this phenomenon, a gap between the stony steps of an underpass, several meters long, was observed by Mario Strack for quite a while now. This "Lifeline" inspired the artist as both, photographer and composer. universal arts Galerie Studio 80637 Munich / Germany - Orffstrasse 35A Vernissage: sat. may 29. 2010 - 7:30 - 10 pm - duration: 'til august 28. 2010 - open: tue - sat 5 - 8 pm ![]() |
